Journal Entry # 3



5 things that i understand

1. The master had begun to ask Griet to run errands for her and to creat different paints.

2. Griet began to understand the meanings and colors within his paintings.

3. Griet and Pieter's son have been dating.

4. Griet and Tanneke are no longer close since Griet began to be favored.

5. The master had once been Protestant but is now Catholic.

1. Does the master have a better relationship with Griet than his wife?

2. Why does Tanneke continue to hold a grudge against her even though Griet had not affended her?

3. Why does the grandmother seem to like Griet more than Tanneke?
